Requirements: Five years magnetics design and manufacturing experience
Education: BSEE or related degree
Reports To: VP Engineering
Duties
- Develop product designs based on customer documentation ranging from complete design documentation to "black box" application information.
- Designs samples and supports the manufacturing of samples for customers, as requested. Provide specifications and documentations to customer as needed.
- Interface with customer to provide support, recommendations for cost reductions or performance improvements and issues regarding yield.
- Provide product application support to customers.
- Create/update product documentation for use by Production: both Asia and us.
- Assist Manufacturing (both Asian and us) by providing advice and training on methods and techniques for optimum yields and efficiencies.
- Troubleshoot product and process problems.
- Integrates with account manager to support customers.
- Travels to visit customers as needed.
- Build relationships with customer's engineering.
- Make decisions on issues related to product quality.
